At Muhimbili National Hospital we do recognize the importance of delivering quality health services to our patients. Quality Assurance Unit supports the hospital’s mission of “providing effective, efficient and high quality tertiary specialist and highly specialized medical services for referred patients from all over Tanzania, as well as providing conducive environment for training and research”. All this is delivered in an environment where quality, integrity, respect, safety, and security is the core of our practice.

This unit is responsible for contributing to hospital-wide and departmental quality initiatives. This involves performing the assessment and analysis of operations and processes. Additionally the unit works collaboratively with staff and managers to promote, design and implement improvements and innovations at Muhimbili National Hospital.
